The James Hotel

The Jame hotel is like paradise! I enjoyed my 2 night stay. My room was pretty fancy in my eyes, I was not expecting it to look and the sizing like it was (Classic King Room River Facing). Very clean and tidy hotel! My bed was so comfortable the pillows are so soft, i had no problem falling asleep. The bathroom was very spacious the cups to drink out of were not plastic they were glass which made me happy! 2nd floor was where breakfast was held it was kinda self service the room was not as big as i thought it would be. The staff are all very polite and courteous with opening the main doors, helping with luggage and any info questions you may have. I really like how after hours a person has to use the key cards to get into the hotel itself and use of the elevator for everyone's safety! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area it’s truly a hidden gem! I will definitely be coming back to stay here! This hotel is my new favorite in the city!! Thank you!

We love this place. The room was fantastic, and extremely clean and quiet. We tried the Studio Suite, 1 King Bed, City View this time, and we enjoyed it. Amazing bedding linens. You can buy them. Worth it! The room had everything we needed and more. POD Coffee maker, kettle, etc. There is a small fridge, but it’s stocked with mini-bar items for a fee. We LOVE the Breakfast. The concept is nice, the staff are excellent and friendly, and the chef was so friendly and nice to chat with. The lounge was a nice place to unwind with some fantastic cocktails. Erin provided excellent service in the lounge. L’Occitane amenities in the bathroom, top notch. The included parking and location cannot be beat. All staff were so friendly and accommodating.

We got married at The James five years ago in the Penthouse and it was lovely. We came back to celebrate our anniversary and booked a one bedroom suite facing the river but we were upgraded to the two bedroom Roderick suite. What a wonderful room. The king sized bed in the master was so comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was amazing. It has a large rainfall shower as well as a huge bathtub. The views from the balcony were beautiful of the river. As a welcome gift there was a small bottle of bubbly and some chocolates as well as a really nice handwritten note. We had some great cocktails in the lovely little bar on the main level. I really can’t say enough good things about the James. Thanks to the James staff for helping to make our anniversary wonderful.

The James is attached to the Sheraton Hotel. It has 2 lounge/bar areas and a ton on the second floor for breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic, with a chef making eggs, omelettes and shakshuka as ordered. Parking is limited, especially on long weekend and when weddings are booked. Also, the parking lot is wide open. We were told to remove everything from our vehicle because of potential vandalism. Our room was nice, bed above average, shower nice and view fantastic.

This was our second annual Christmas Party at the James Hotel. We were hosted in the Penthouse Suite again this year. The service from Neva & Jody was exceptional once again! These two ladies literally are wonder-women! They kept the drink flowing all night, gave us some laughs and above all are so friendly and warm! The food was delicious and everyone had full belly's when they left! Compliments to the Chef! I would recommend hosting any company event you may have here! See you next year :)

Been by this hotel 100 times and never realized it was separate from the Sheraton. Pretty nice hotel. Breakfast was really good, nice variety for being included with room.

Ultimate place for a staycation, yes its pricey but you get free parking and made to order breakfast!! This really feels like a 5 star hotel. Staff give amazing service. I love the deep soaker tub as many hotels don't have bathtubs anymore or they are tiny. Softest bed/bedding/robes. And 2 tvs so ur spouse can game while you watch tv!!

Absolutely loved my stay at The James Hotel. Was in for a work Christmas function, and it was held here. Amazing staff, the women were absolutely fantastic. They were on top of everyone's needs and even possible wants. Very professional. The Penthouse is beautiful with a 3 sided view of the city skyline and and complete view of the river. Boasts 2 separate balconies with amazing sights. The king suite room is amazing. Besides the amazing views of the river and the bridges in both the bedroom and main living room, there is also a balcony in the room, and a very deep soaker tub. Hard to find a tub that I can comfortably soak in, but this one was perfect! I recommend staying at The James Hotel next time you're in Saskatoon. I will be.
